Three key trends that I am seeing here at High Point are best exemplified here in the Michael Weiss Showroom at Vanguard. I am seeing a lot of grey and silver wood finishes, which is something very new. You usually see the darker woods, the ebonies, the chocolates, but coming on strong for 2012 is a sleek new color finish that I think is going to be fabulous in any home, regardless of whether it is transitional, traditional, or really modern.

What I am seeing in upholstery a lot of charcoal, a lot of silver-greys, and colors that contrast with it to give it a piece of pop. Prime example this orange pillow teamed up with the charcoal sofa fabric really looks dynamic and beautiful. I am seeing a lot of geometrics, I am not seeing that many florals, but I am seeing a real modern push as far as texture, color and pattern when it comes to pillows, accessories and even contrasting fabrics on the seat cushions.
